Faith Based/Church Equipping

  • Fostering C.A.R.E. (Compassion, Advocacy, Reconciliation, Education) equips churches and faith-based organizations to effectively engage with vulnerable families in their communities

Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)

  • Assess current CQI system/processes and design enhancements to ensure best practice implementation

  • Develop quantitative and qualitative measures for practice outcomes, court processes, and systemic factors assessment (includes assessment of how federal CFSR, AFCARS, NCANDS, and NYTD data are used)


Strategic Planning

  • Assist in defining agency mission and values

  • Design strategic plans to achieve agency mission 

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather input in strategic planning


Policies / Procedures

  • Assess current policies/procedures for alignment with best practice and assist in drafting and implementing needed changes

  • Develop implementation supports and ongoing evaluation for continued alignment with best practice


 

Training

  • Review and develop curriculum to ensure training addresses the why (values) as well as the how (skills) of best practice

  • Conduct in-person training for trainers, agency/court staff, community stakeholders and foster and adoptive parents

Service Array Enhancement

  • Develop strategic partnerships with faith-based community agencies and churches to strengthen the service array available for families (child care, visitation services, mentoring/social support, job skills training, independent living support, foster/adoptive home recruitment)

  • Develop processes for evaluation of service providers to ensure services are meeting client needs in measurable ways


Parents / Youth / Foster Parents Engagement

  • Assess current efforts at systemic engagement of birth parents, youth, and foster parents

  • Design CQI processes to evaluate efforts in engagement

  • Develop strategies for improving engagement throughout agency structure (from case-level to management)

  • Develop capacity to implement mentorship programs and support groups

  • Utilize parents/youth/foster parents as trainers


CFSR / Program Improvement Plan (PIP)

  • Conduct 1st/2nd level Quality Assurance on CFSR OSRI for PIP measurement

  • Develop capacity for qualitative case reviews, measurement plans, and systemic factor assessment

  • Provide implementation support for PIP strategies


Court & Agency Collaboration

  • Assess current court-agency collaborative efforts

  • Design targeted activities to support collaborative partnerships (meaningful data sharing, joint strategy design, joint training on best practice, vision sessions)
